LONDON, THURSDAY, MAY 2
The trial of OSCAR WILDE and ALFRED TAYLOR on several charges of misdemeanour came to a close at the Central Criminal Court yesterday. The Jury deliberated for nearly four hours, and were then discharged, on their declaration that they were unable to agree upon a verdict. Mr. Gill, for the prosecution, said the Prisoners would certainly be tried again. Mr. Justice Charles declined to admit them to bail, and they were taken back to Holloway Gaol.
